WHAT IS CONNECT?
Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm a very busy guy, but it's the guys who are busy who get things done. If you ever need anything done, don't ask a guy with lots of time on his hands, it won't get done. So, after careful thought, prayer and talks with both my D.E. brothers and blessings from Dr. Jim Dubel founder of New Beginnings, Connect was born. (Thanks Outlaw).
There are some chiropractic philosophy meetings that don't like to integrate or discuss the business side of practice in that they think it's not pure. We can appreciate their opinion, but don't agree in that there are way too many chiropractors who are struggling in practice because they don't know what it is that they are supposed to be doing in practice.
There are plenty of chiropractors who know chiropractic philosophy forwards and backwards, but recite the Green Books all day long to an empty office. Chiropractic philosophy is an ABSOLUTE necessity, but this alone will not guarantee a strong principled chiropractic practice. There are other chiropractic philosophy meetings that are all Rah, Rah, Rah and are mostly hype and have no substance or very little chiropractic philosophy. They instead incorporate New Age Philosophy into chiropractic talks, but New Age Philosophy is NOT Chiropractic Philosophy!
Many chiropractic philosophy meetings discuss "the why" but not "the how." Chiropractic Connect Conference is comprised of the Profession's Most Successful Chiropractors who talk the talk, because they walk the walk. In addition to chiropractic philosophy, these speakers will also share practical practice tips, tools, and ideas that will help all chiropractors in attendance.
Chiropractic Connect Conference will be sort of like Church for chiropractors in the sense that if you are a chiropractor who is practicing out in the wilderness, it can get lonely out there and you can lose your enthusiasm for practice.
Connect will fire you up quarterly, it will teach you the philosophy, and it will be a time for fellowship with other like minded chiropractors, and it will help you grow your practice and enable you to reach more people with the power of chiropractic! Plus, you'll be able to meet, hang out and learn from some of the profession's top chiropractors in the world.
Most chiropractors here in Southern California have never been exposed to Dr. Sid or D.E. and as such, Dr. PHIL YAMAMOTO had a burden on his heart to reach out to all the California chiropractors who have never had benefited from the experience of D.E., Dr. Sid or Dr. PHIL'S mentor, Dr. Santo.
Chiropractic Connect Conference will be a time of fun, sharing, and fellowship for all chiropractors in attendance. Connect is bringing the best of the best to Southern California on a quarterly basis so that you can get re-charged every 3 months. This will allow you to go back out into battle clothed in the impenetrable armor of principle and wielding the sword of chiropractic truth.
Connect will not conflict with D.E. dates or with Dr. Billy DeMoss's Cal Jam in that the speakers at Connect will be at these events. In addition to Connect, other great chiropractic philosophy meetings that meet quarterly are D.E., Focus and
New Beginnings. If you don't get to Connect get to one of these other great chiropractic philosophy meetings or better yet, do what I do, go to ALL of them!
Personally, I can't get enough chiropractic philosophy and if I go and I have a successful high volume practice, then by all means, you should really make the effort to go, as it will help you in practice and it will change your life! Also, be sure to search for a Band Of Brothers meeting near you! Connect is being held at the Double Tree Hotel here in Los Angeles, CA and the hotel is FIRST CLASS!
From the individual hotel rooms, to the meeting rooms, to the beautiful outdoor pool and restaurants this hotel's facilities are way nice. I gotta tell you the linens, the bedding, the sheets, the beds, the showers, the soaps, everything at this hotel is TOP SHELF, and you can bring your wife, husband, girlfriend, or family and not be embarrassed. You can even walk barefoot on the carpet, it's that clean!
And the room rates will be approximately $80 to $100. These hotel rates are the BOMB and just out of the park frigging great! And this is LA LA Land where we have PERFECT WEATHER! Plus there are plenty of other reasonably priced eating-places within walking distance of the hotel for either the cheap guys or the broke guys.
In closing, I want to assure you that Connect will be a first class event and it will be an event that you won't want to miss out on attending or being a part of in your chiropractic professional career.
